1958 received Mane-Katz artist Haifa Municipality in a framework agreement whereby after his death bequeath all his property and his collections to the city of Haifa. The house is located at one of the most beautiful scenery in the country, linked to the side of Mount Carmel overlooking Haifa Bay and the hills of Galilee.
Mane Katz Museum collection includes the works of Mane-Katz hundreds of oil paintings, gouache, pastels and drawings, except for certain multi-value sculptures; and private collections – antique furniture, rugs, sculptures – some toys material from Eastern Europe, bronze statuettes from the Far East and more. A collection of sacred objects and Jewish commandment is one of the richest and unique collection of the museum and includes lamps, platters turn, crowns, grenades, curtains, addresses and other objects.
Opening hours: Sunday-Wednesday 10:00-16:00, Thu 19:00-16:00, Friday 13:00-10:00, Saturday 10:00-15:00.
